Doing our small part to help everyone going through this time of social distancing, the Wellness Tourism Association is working with our members to offer you Healthy@Home, a new program offering many of the things you might experience under the umbrella of Wellness Travel without ever having to leave your home.
Our mission is to do something positive to help anyone needing inspiration and advice, along with words and moments of wellness in these trying and challenging times brought about by the coronavirus pandemic. The time to travel will come again, and when that happens we will be here for you, but in the meantime we have Healthy@Home.
We’ll be adding new options on a regular basis as this crises continues to keep us inside our homes, and close to our loved ones. As best we can, we are collectively trying to help people maintain or even kick-start a wellness lifestyle while, perhaps, even helping elevate feelings of isolation. Simply scroll down to what our members are offering. And, if you like, please share with friends and family who might also be feeling the isolation of these challenging times. It’s the small practices and habits we work into our daily lives that combine to keep us healthy.

Pritikin Health & Longevity Center in Miami is offering three remote packages. Pritikin Nutrition on Track with six, 30-minute one-on-one nutritional consultation sessions. Pritikin Fitness on Track with options for 3, 6 or 12 online fitness coaching sessions. And, Pritikin at Home with remote consultations to help kickstart a customized healthy mind / body program.
Sara Quiriconi of Live Free Warrior is offering an online Nine-Day Yoga Detox. Regular price is $9.99 but now thru April 20, you will receive a 50% discount at check out. Sara is also offering a free week of well-being hosted on her website. The week combines elements of mind, body, health tips, and a “workshop” on journaling exercises to do at home.
Skyterra Wellness Retreat in North Carolina is offering live classes, webinars and workouts, all for free live on Skyterra’s Facebook page. Wellness Coach Betsy Leahy is offering a six-week virtual coaching Mindfulness Program package including guided weekly calls over Zoom, personalized email support between sessions, and materials to further the understanding of mindfulness and deepen one’s practice. Rates start at $147 per session but a discounted rate of $47 per session is being offered until further notice.
The online-magazine Travel to Wellness offers these easy-to-make healthy recipes courtesy of healthy-minded chefs and culinary teams from Antigua, to Mexico and St. Lucia.

For the month of April, Corc Yoga has partnered with teachers who are part of the Corc community to offer 45-minute online yoga sessions. Online classes will be held every Wednesday in April at 9 a.m. PST/ 11 a.m. EST
